Polypropylene (PP) is a durable, lightweight and easily recyclable material, and Millad additives allow polypropylene products to achieve glass-like clarity. This property improvement allows PP to be used in different applications such as thin-wall packaging. It is also one of the least energy-intensive polymers compared to other transparent polymers, with low energy consumption rates during both production and recycling. In addition, at the end of July this year,
The How2Recycle® labeling program, launched in the US, upgrades the recycling status of boxes, bottles, jugs and jars made of rigid PP material to “widely recyclable”.
