● SilibaseLE-3130 Synthetic Leather Silicone Resin Modifier is a silicone polyether graft copolymer with secondary hydroxyl function. The copolymer has not only the organic reactivity from hydroxyl group, but also the typical properties of polydimethylsiloxane silicone oil. Its hydroxyl groups can be chemically bonded to any system that reacts with hydroxyl groups, bringing persistent silicone properties to the system.
● SilibaseLE-3130 Synthetic Leather Silicone Resin Modifier is used as additive in polyurethane coating resin system. Because the copolymer can react into the paint, the typical silicone properties are usually durable. A typical example is the modification of transfer coated aromatic polyurethane topcoat by the production of porous breathable coated fabrics.
● The addition amount should be less than 2% of the solid content of polyurethane in order to avoid problems in subsequent welding.
